** Litigation Paralegal **

Gobel Flakes LLC is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our team. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has the ability to work independently and as part of our West Palm Beach team. This position offers a hybrid work, with a combination of in-office and remote work.

** Required Job Duties: **

• ** Minimum 5+ years of ** experience with Insurance Defense (Mandatory experience in BI, experience in homeowners property cases preferred and defense side preferred.)
• Trial attendance and assistance
• Thorough understanding of the Insurance Defense Litigation process
• Manage full caseload
• Prepare medical chronologies/records summaries
• Analyze medical bills and collateral source records
• Draft all required pleadings, including discovery responses
• Draft Expert Disclosures, Witness & Exhibit Lists, and prepare exhibits for trial
• Mediation, deposition, and trial preparation with attorney
• Knowledge & understanding of billing to exceed monthly billing minimum ( _ ABA billing codes _ , Timeslips/Timesheets )
• Clio Legal Software ( _ experience with a case management software _ )
• Microsoft Office ( _ Word, Excel, Outlook _ ).

​The law firm has shared full-time legal assistant to handle some of the "non-billable" types of duties, but candidate must be willing to schedule events as well as locate case information in the event one of the other employees is unavailable. Some secretarial type tasks may be required. We are focused on hiring a team player who wants to be part of our winning team. The candidate we ultimately seek possesses - extensive BI insurance defense experience, professional demeanor, leadership skills, and the ability to become a pivotal part of the team.
