Litigation Paralegal

Location: On-site (North Palm Beach, Florida) Employment Type: Open to Temp, Temp-to-Perm, or Permanent Experience Required: 5-7 years of Litigation Paralegal experience (preferably in Palm Beach County, FL) Core Practice Areas: Elder Law, Guardianship, Probate/Trust, and Fiduciary Litigation Base Salary: $75,000 - $95,000 annually Health & Wellness Coverage (Post 90-Day Probation): Medical: $700 monthly employer contribution toward employee Florida Blue medical insurance premiums. Responsibilities: Case Administration: Manage caseloads, client communications, intake/conflict checks, and maintain organized electronic/physical files. Litigation & Filings: Draft and proofread pleadings, notices, subpoenas, and court filings in compliance with Florida court rules. Discovery & Support: Coordinate written/electronic discovery, manage document productions via ShareFile, handle expert witness notices, and prepare hearing/trial binders. Court Services: Request transcripts, execute court searches, and assist with emergency filings (e.g., emergency temporary guardianship). Timekeeping & Billing Support: Enter daily billable and non-billable time entries in Clio with clear narrative descriptions, code case-related expenses, assist with pre-bill edits and invoice approvals, and ensure compliance with firm billing policies. Requirements: 5-7 years of Litigation Paralegal experience (preferably in Palm Beach County, FL) Experience in Elder Law, Guardianship, Probate/Trust, and related litigation is highly preferred. Proficiency in drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and litigation documents. Deep familiarity with Florida Rules of Civil Procedure, Probate Rules, Judicial Administration, and Palm Beach County Court System. National Association of Legal Assistants (NALA) Certification or 2 to 4 year Paralegal Studies degree. Florida Notary (or willingness to obtain). Experience with practice management systems, document management systems, and e-discovery software (e.g, Clio, NetDocuments, ShareFile, etc). #J-18808-Ljbffr
