Role Overview:

We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist (Contract) . This role will focus primarily on top-of-funnel recruiting, including talent pipelining, sourcing, outbound outreach, candidate qualification, and initial screening.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on recruiter who knows how to identify and engage high-quality talent in competitive markets. This is an execution-focused role suited to someone who can hit the ground running, work independently, and bring strong sourcing and candidate engagement skills from day one.

Location: This is a short-term contract and can be 100% remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain proactive talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs, with a focus on passive talent.

• Conduct targeted, high-volume outbound sourcing using LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean searches, AI-enabled tools, databases, and other sourcing platforms.

• Develop creative and personalized outreach strategies to engage passive candidates and communicate the opportunity effectively.

• Conduct initial candidate qualification and screening, assessing experience, skills, motivation, compensation expectations, location, and overall fit.

• Manage candidates through the top of the funnel, from initial outreach through qualification and handoff to the Recruiter or hiring team.

• Provide regular market and pipeline updates, including candidate availability, sourcing challenges, and talent insights.

• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to ensure a smooth handoff of qualified candidates and a positive candidate experience.

• Continuously refine sourcing strategies, messaging, and channels to improve engagement and pipeline quality.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• 3–6 years of corporate Talent Acquisition, or agency recruiting experience, with strong hands-on sourcing experience.

• Experience recruiting within technology, B2B SaaS, software, or other fast-paced environments preferred; agency experience is highly valued.

• Strong expertise in outbound sourcing and passive candidate engagement, including LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, talent databases, and market mapping.

• Proven ability to identify, assess, and qualify candidates against defined profiles, rather than relying solely on inbound applicants.

• Highly organized and adaptable, with the ability to manage multiple pipelines and priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

• Hungry, curious, proactive, and resourceful, with strong communication skills, a sense of urgency, and a commitment to balancing speed, quality, and candidate experience.
