As a Dining Services Cook with Highgate at Wenatchee, you will play a vital role in ensuring our residents receive exceptional culinary care. Our mission is to help every resident live each day to the fullest, regardless of age or ailments. We strive to create a warm and welcoming community where our residents can thrive.
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Dining Services Cook to prepare and serve delicious meals to our residents. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for:
- Preparing and cooking meals according to our menu and dietary requirements
- Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Ensuring high standards of food quality, presentation, and taste
- Collaborating with our dietary team to plan and execute special events and activities
- Providing exceptional customer service to our residents and their families
Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook a variety of meals, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including refrigerators, freezers, and dishwashing areas
Order and receive food and supply deliveries, and manage inventory
Assist with menu planning and preparation for special events and activities
Provide exceptional customer service to residents and their families
Maintain a positive and respectful attitude in a fast-paced environment

Requirements:
- Minimum years of experience as a cook in a similar setting
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Food Handler's Certification or ability to obtain within timeframe
