About the Position: The Incumbent will Prepare Plans, Specifications and Estimates for assigned projects and/or perform independent quality assurance (oversight) activities on projects designed by others in coordination with the Department's functional units. Incumbent will performs geometric engineering calculations to establish design controls and geometric design on highway projects, will Prepare administrative, technical or statistical reports, prepare correspondences, participate in field investigations and safety field reviews. Incumbent will Coordinate work with others, and prepare construction schedules and will prepares special studies, reports and maps for maintenance and freeway agreements, environmental documents, public hearings, supporting documents, etc. Incumbent will also Review reports and documents from other Department functional units and also erform miscellaneous office duties as assigned.
