Senior Associate - Transactional Tax

Job Overview A law firm seeks a Senior Associate specializing in Transactional Tax for its Chicago, IL office. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of experience in transactional tax matters, including domestic and cross-border M&A, partnership tax, private equity fund formation, capital markets, and financings. Duties Advise on complex tax issues for multinational corporations and financial institutions. Develop innovative tax structures for a diverse client base. Collaborate with global tax teams on cross-border transactions. Provide practical solutions for tax controversies and business operations. Requirements Minimum of 4 years of law-firm experience in transactional tax matters. Experience with domestic and cross-border M&A and partnership tax. Proficiency in private equity fund formation and capital markets. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications Admitted to practice law in the United States. Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
