Construction Coordinator

Responsibilities Assist with review and verifications of construction schedules Assist in the preparation of monthly contractor cost estimates Under the direction of a senior project engineer read and interpret engineering plans and specifications to perform construction administration duties Perform routine engineering assignments requiring application of spreadsheets Use engineering judgement to make decisions under the direction of senior project engineer Complete projects with clear, specified objectives and limited variables Under the direction of project administrator or senior project engineer perform routine construction contract administration duties Exercise independent judgment and analysis of significant issue identification and resolution Apply knowledge of contracting concepts, and follow and enforce company and client requirements Coordinate closely with all parties involved Perform other duties as needed Preferred Qualifications Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate. Candidates hired without their EIT will have the title of “Coordinator” and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progression. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or closely related field Knowledge of MS Office, Primavera, Scheduling Software, spreadsheets and databases Interest and/or experience in the construction field Excellent oral and written communication skills An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must #J-18808-Ljbffr
