Job Title: AR Accountant

Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a AR Accountant to join our client in a role that supports key business operations and contributes to important organizational initiatives. This onsite direct hire opportunity in Pennsauken, New Jersey offers the chance to play a vital role in managing receivables, strengthening cash flow performance, and supporting financial accuracy across the organization. The position works closely with internal stakeholders to address account issues, improve financial processes, and maintain effective credit and collection practices. Candidates who are analytical, detail oriented, and comfortable working with financial systems will be well suited for this role.

Compensation:
$60,000 - $72,000 annual salary

Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, normal business hours

Key Responsibilities of the AR Accountant:

• Oversee accounts receivable activities, including collection efforts, aging reviews, and payment follow up to support healthy cash flow and timely account resolution.
• Analyze customer account activity to identify discrepancies, payment variances, deductions, credits, and other issues requiring investigation or corrective action.
• Coordinate with internal business partners to resolve billing concerns, pricing differences, and outstanding account matters while maintaining positive professional relationships.
• Prepare and review financial and operational reporting related to receivables, collection performance, and credit exposure to support informed decision making.
• Ensure adherence to established financial controls, regulatory requirements, and audit standards while contributing to process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications and Skills for the AR Accountant:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts receivable, credit, collections, deductions management, auditing, or related accounting functions.
• Proficiency using ERP platforms and advanced spreadsheet tools to manage, analyze, and report financial information.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple business functions.
• Demonstrated analytical problem solving abilities with experience researching account issues and recommending solutions.
• High level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail when managing financial records and transactional data.
