Job OverviewPosition will work in Weld, Round, and Flange and will weld, cut and braze metal pieces and products by using flame-cutting and hand welding equipment.Key Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesAble to read tags.Ability to tack weld with MIG weld.Able to correctly and efficiently flange pipe.Build and stuff wall fittings.Able to correctly change lead and liner.Ability to use and read a tape measure.Setup welder correctly according to specifications.Able to choose the correct shielding gas and attach to welding gun.Other duties may be assigned.QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to adhere to delegation of authority and lead by instructions of management and supervision.Basic computer skills may be preferred or required.Attendance is an essential job requirement defined as having regular, consistent, reliable, punctual and predictable attendance including the ability to work regular hours and shifts, overtime before and after shifts and on weekends. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.Work EnvironmentWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and risk of electrical shock.
