Position Status:

• Full Time, Hourly, non exempt and Part Time
• 38-42 hours per week
• Monday-Friday 7:30 A- 4:00P dependent on transportation.
• Summer program hours are Monday-Thursday 7:00A-5:00P

Location: In the Food for Good Thought classroom and in the community and various buildings on Ohio Dominican’s campus and in the community

Reports to: Assistant Director

Job Type : Direct Services

This position provides support to individuals with disabilities in the classroom, community and workplace. This role combines teaching, job coaching, mentoring, social-emotional skill development and life skills training with post-secondary students, typically one-to-one or in small groups.

Psychology

Social Work

Human Services

Vocational Rehabilitation

Direct Support Services (adult day and residential services)

Behavioral Health Technicians

ABA therapy staff

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide daily support and interaction with students and individuals enrolled in all programs to enhance learning and as assigned by the daily schedule.
• Collaborate with other professionals and the individuals/students to develop, implement and update treatment plans with achievable goals.
• Regular meetings with individuals/students to work on those goals.
• Monitor and track progress on goals and communicate progress with parents and other program personnel.
• Collaborate with other staff and the Intervention specialist to ensure effective and consistent interventions are being utilized.
• Bills through a billing portal for all interactions with students within 24 hours.
• Provides transportation in agency vehicles when needed.
• Participate in team meetings and case conferences.
• Regular meetings with the supervisor.
• Maintain up to date student records.
• Provides job coaching at job and internship sites in the community.
• Provides supervision and interaction within the community to ensure safety.
