Early Intervention Occupational Therapist

Compensation: [$55-$65 per 30min session]

Job Overview:

Beanstalk Academy is seeking compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapists to provide early intervention services to children ages 0-3. This role focuses on supporting developmental milestones through play-based, individualized therapy in natural environments such as the home, daycare, or clinic.

You will work closely with families and a multidisciplinary team to help children build essential skills for independence and daily functioning.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive occupational therapy services to children ages 0-3
• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
• Address fine motor, sensory processing, feeding, self-help, and developmental skills
• Implement evidence-based, play-based therapeutic interventions
• Educate and coach parents/caregivers to support skill carryover in daily routines
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and reports in compliance with EI guidelines
• Participate in meetings

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy required
• Current NYS licensure as an Occupational Therapist
• Experience in pediatrics or early intervention preferred
• Strong understanding of child development and sensory integration principles
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with early intervention (ages 0-3)
• Familiarity with IFSPs and family-centered service models
