Required Skills:

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in emergency or acute care settings
• Expertise in telemetry and dysrhythmia management
• Proficient in PCU/Stepdown care, IV protocols (Insulin & Heparin), and renal failure management
• Strong knowledge of cardiac and vasoactive drip titration
• Experience with blood product administration, wound care, and wound vacuum systems
• Skilled in non-invasive airway management (CPAP/BIPAP, oxygen therapy)
• Ability to utilize Rapid Response Team protocols effectively
• Familiarity with tracheostomy management and wound care procedures
• EPIC electronic health record documentation proficiency
• Current BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with pediatric, adolescent, or geriatric patient populations
• Additional certifications in advanced emergency procedures or critical care
• Bilingual abilities or strong communication skills

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher degree preferred
• At least 2 years of recent ER or acute care experience in a hospital setting

Other Requirements:

• Active state nursing license
• Ability to work night shifts (19:00 - 07:30) across a 12-hour schedule, three nights per week
• Valid parking permit (options available through CampusParc) for convenient access to Wexner Medical Center
• Willingness to work in a high-pressure environment and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
