Description of Work We are currently recruiting for a Physician at Central Regional Hospital (CRH). The major responsibility of the Physician is to assure optimum patient care and medical management of patients at Central Regional Hospital Knowledge, Skills and Abilities / Management Preferences Salary Range: $147,932.00 - $295,863.00 Sign-on bonus of $20,000 may be offered to the successful applicant(s) of this posting, contingent on the 2025-2026 Budget Approval. Applicants who possess the following skills are preferred: Thorough knowledge of the theory, principles, and practices of general, preventive medicine and of the techniques involved. Thorough knowledge of biological, social, and psychological developmental processes at all ages. Thorough knowledge of the practice and theories of the medical specialty or subspecialty to which assigned. Skill in treating and diagnosing a variety of diseases and injuries in the practice of an applicable specialty of medicine. Ability to assess and interpret laboratory results, clinical data and information relative to the patient's condition. Eligibility for Sign-on Bonus To qualify for the Sign-on Bonus, a newly hired permanent full-time or permanent part-time employee must work 30 to 40 hours per week to be eligible. Those who are eligible and working less than 40 hours a week will receive a prorated rate. An employee is not eligible for a sign-on bonus if: The employee has held a position in the North Carolina State government, including the judicial system, or the University of North Carolina system, within the last 12 months (the employee shall remain ineligible for 12 months from the separation date) The employee has previously received a sign-on bonus from any State agency DHHS has paid any contract placement or recruitment fees. Full-time Position and Benefits This is a full-time position and eligible for the full State benefits package including health insurance and retirement. The normal working hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. and rotating call; however, flexibility is required to meet hospital needs.
