Worship Leader

Duties and Responsibilities Maintain a growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ, living with integrity, humility, and a clear sense of calling. Provide prayerful leadership and vision for worship in alignment with the mission and heart of Tapestry Church Claremont. Plan and lead weekly worship services that are Christ-centered and encourage congregational participation. Select and prepare worship sets in collaboration with the Pastor, ensuring alignment with sermon themes and church direction. Oversee Sunday morning service preparation, including sound system setup and basic audio/technical coordination as needed. Arrive early on Sundays to set up, test equipment, and ensure all worship and audio elements are ready for service. Help establish foundational practices for future worship ministry development. Participate in special services and seasonal worship gatherings as needed. Work with leadership to gradually identify, recruit, and develop future musicians and volunteers as the ministry grows. Qualifications A personal and growing relationship with Jesus Christ Musical proficiency (vocals and/or instrument) and ability to lead others Prior experience leading worship in a church setting preferred Strong communication and organizational skills A heart for serving and building a worship culture that honors God Willingness to work in unity with church leadership and vision Knowledge of sound systems and worship presentation tools (e.g., PowerPoint) is a plus.
