Role Description The Sales and Marketing Representative is a full-time, on-site role based in the Jackson, MS Area. This role involves engaging with prospective and existing customers, identifying their insurance and financial service needs, and presenting appropriate State Farm products and solutions. Daily activities include conducting sales calls, scheduling and leading in-person or virtual appointments, following up on leads, and maintaining accurate records in agency systems. The representative will support marketing initiatives by contributing to local outreach, social media efforts, and community events to build brand awareness and generate new business. The role also includes providing exceptional customer service, assisting with policy changes and inquiries, and collaborating with team members to achieve sales goals. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Communication skills, including clear verbal and written interaction with customers and colleagues. Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service skills, with a focus on building relationships, resolving issues, and creating positive customer experiences. Candidates should possess solid Sales and Sales & Marketing skills, including prospecting, presenting solutions, closing opportunities, and supporting promotional activities. Candidates should possess Training-related skills, such as the ability to learn product information quickly and share knowledge with customers and team members. Additional beneficial qualifications include prior experience in insurance, financial services, or retail sales; comfort with technology and CRM tools; a goal-oriented mindset; and strong organizational and time-management skills. Property and Casualty, Life and Health licensed is a requirement to start.
