Clinician Educator

Description The Vanderbilt Health Division of Diabetes, Endocrinology, and Metabolism ( in Nashville, TN, has an exciting opportunity for a board-certified/eligible endocrinologist as a clinician-educator faculty member at Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC). We have a rich tradition of clinical, investigative, and training excellence. The Division has over 40 faculty and over 50 staff members, who participate in a wide range of clinical programs and translational research. The Division provides in-patient and out-patient care at two hospitals, Vanderbilt University Hospital and the Nashville Veterans Administration Hospital, in close collaboration with faculty colleagues in endocrine surgery, neurosurgery, and solid organ transplant. We strive for excellence in patient care, recognized by our ranking as one of the best programs in Diabetes and Endocrinology by US News and World Report. Training the next generation of physicians and clinician investigators is a major part of our mission through our Endocrinology Fellowship and a Medical Student Research Program. Specific areas of growth encompass pituitary and adrenal disorders including endocrine hypertension, digital health, and transplant endocrinology. Qualifications The physician must be a board-certified/eligible endocrinologist and can be at any career stage with interest or expertise in adrenal disease, pituitary disorders, or transplant endocrinology and cardiometabolic health.
