Sr. TPMDuration: 8 Months - Likely to extendLocation: Local Candidates Only (Greater Seattle Area) - Will have to come on-site occasionallyKey projects:As technical product manager for the Starbucks Connect program, you will help define and champion technical integration efforts for implementing the Connect solution at Starbucks licensed stores. You will serve as a change agent for the enhancement and extensibility of existing products and services for the Connect program.To be successful, the technical product manager needs to have significant technical acumen along with a strong product management background, with demonstrated experience in shaping a product or service’s function within a larger enterprise technology context. This role will partner with cross-functional product managers and Starbucks Technology leaders to help define the roadmap priorities and ensure that it remains aligned with the broader strategic prioritiesDaily Responsibilities:Contributes innovative business capabilities and customer features informed by technology trends and business strategy to the product or service roadmapTranslates customer experience and business strategy requirements into technical requirementsInfluences decisions by providing technical consultation and direction to stakeholdersInfluences and documents non-functional requirements including performance, scalability, resilience, usability, accessibility, security, and business continuityCollaborates with peer technology teams to align on solutionsRepresents customer experience context to engineering teamsCreates acceptance criteria/requirements to align with customer, business, and technical strategy goalsLeads prioritization of backlogRecommends new technology trends and innovative products/features to the teamAnalysis & KPIs:Analyzes data and uses results to justify product decisions and apply key learningsDefines product health and performance metrics and dashboard/reporting requirements, and KPIs to measure performance against feature goalsIdentifies opportunities to improve feature performance and overall product health using dataLeads ongoing improvements to product performanceProduct Planning & Delivery:Identifies and documents technical tradeoffs as well as dependencies and constraintsPresents recommendations and influences alignment across neighbor ST teamsPerforms validation of feature against stated goals; facilitates user review/acceptance testingManages the elimination of blocking issues during developmentWorks with cross-functional engineering teams on feature sizing and delivery planningPractices iterative, agile development and is well versed in agile methodologies and toolTechnology requirements?:Microsoft Windows development backgroundDegree or certifications required?:Computer science or engineering backgroundBachelor’sYears experience?:Relevant functional/business process experience - 7 yearsProduct definition, measurement, and analysis experience - 7 yearsEnterprise services product management or ownership experience - 7 yearsRequired background?
