Facility Address: 650 E Indian School Rd, Phoenix AZ 85012RN ICU - RESPONSIBILITIESThe RN ICU assesses patient conditions, identifies nursing measures, and evaluates therapeutic objectives.Shall execute scrub and circulating duties to ensure optimal patient care during procedures.Shall demonstrate competency in monitoring patients undergoing conscious sedation.Shall ensure a comprehensive understanding of the patient's background.Shall formulate and document a detailed plan of care in the patient's medical record.The RN ICU verifies the transcription of physician's orders and ensures accurate documentation in the inpatient medical record; the RN carries out prescribed orders.Shall ensure a seamless flow of information for optimal patient care.Shall monitor and documents patient responses to the treatments.Shall respond effectively in emergencies and during surgical/diagnostic procedures.The RN ICU ensures comprehensive patient support in critical care settings.RN ICU - REQUIREMENTSCandidate must possess a bachelor's degree in nursing and eligibility under the Superior Academic Achievement provision -OR- Possess of a bachelor's degree in nursing and at least one full year of professional nursing experience-OR- Possess a diploma or associate degree in professional nursing.Must possess a current, valid, unrestricted nursing license in a state, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a Territory of the United States.Must have a minimum of 12 months experience in an intensive care environment during the last 36 months.Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) as approved by the American Heart Association (AHA) is mandatory for all specialties.Evidence of current immunizations is required.KurzSolutions is committed to improving health outcomes by providing well-managed companies with the top healthcare talent in the market.
