The team works on validating new hardware designs through rigorous testing of components, systems, and vehicles. What You'll Do Design and build custom test equipment using linear actuators, motors, pumps, and other components to create efficient, modular, and repeatable validation setups. Manage projects from initial concept through design, assembly, and final commissioning, ensuring milestones are met. Write and maintain test software to automate test execution, collect data, and perform analysis. Develop and maintain validation schedules that coordinate test resources and keep program managers informed. What You'll Bring Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Vehicle Engineering, Computer Science, Photographic Sciences, or a related field. Proven technical experience through extracurricular activities, academic projects, or passion projects. Strong grasp of engineering fundamentals and hands‑on experience with hand tools, motors, actuators, power supplies, multimeters, and drawing interpretation. Detail‑oriented, execution focused, and comfortable collaborating cross‑functionally while working independently on large projects. Curiosity and a knack for troubleshooting root causes and optimizing processes. Hands‑on mindset with a passion for automating repeatable tasks; experience with scripting or robotics is a plus. Coding experience, preferably Python, for test automation and data post‑processing. Knowledge of sensors, their functions, and integration techniques. Design experience with CAD software such as CATIA, SOLIDWORKS, or Autodesk Inventor. Interest in electric vehicles and sustainable energy demonstrated through projects or activities.
