Service Manager

Truck Enterprises is seeking a Service Manager for their busy Chesapeake, VA location. They are looking for and individual who can uphold their mission of excellent customer service to both external and internal customers while maintaining the highest ethics.

Qualified Candidates Will Have:

• A minimum of five (5) years of experience in truck maintenance industry.
• Broad knowledge of new and used truck repair.
• Understanding of how to cost-out jobs.
• Strong organizational, leadership and communication skills.
• Must be proficient in the use of computer and web-based technology.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversees the general flow of operations in the Service Department.
• Oversees the Warranty Administrator, and Shop Foreman.
• Makes purchases for the Service Department and calls on customers.
• Provides quotes on service contracts and reviews repair orders daily.
• Ensures good customer relations.
• Oversees training in the shop and assists with technical problems.
• Serves as a liaison with factory representatives.
