We are currently seeking structural steel welder for our steel erection group . Iron worker and metal building erection is a plus but not required.


What You Will Do:

• Weld structural steel connections for new and retrofit steel erection projects .
• Inspect welds as necessary to meet product specifications
• Fitting , connecting and bolt up of structural steel
• Steel cutting with a torch and grinding .
• Assist with steel erection connecting and bolt up.
• Equipment rigging.
• Pre engineered metal building erection
• Follow job site safety and regulations and maintain a safe and clean work area. Identify safety hazards to protect self and others.

What You Will Bring:

• Must be able to certify in stick structural welding
• OSHA 10/30 Certified, preferred. If you do not have OSHA 10/30, it will be required before starting the position (certification paid by company)
• Lift trained
• RTF and forklift experience

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Candidates must have transportation and good communication skills
• Be willing to work within a 50-mile radius. Willingness to travel to other states for work is a plus!
• Be able to work in a variety of seasonal and weather conditions

Abilities:

• Possess all auditory, speaking and communicating capabilities
• Physical requirements: standing, walking, bending, twisting, climbing, pushing, pulling, lifting up to 50lbs., seeing and reading
