TITLE:

Payroll AdministratorLOCATION: New Jersey

JOB SUMMARY :

This position is responsible for verification, preparation, and/or input of information into the Ceridian Dayforce system for weekly and bi-weekly payrolls

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

Verifies master file changes such as new hires, terminations, salary changes, etc. that are fed into Ceridian Dayforce payroll system.Reviews calculated timesheets to identify errors and inputs quick entries as necessary.Problem resolution of employee payroll-related issues.Process union payments such as Health & Welfare and Pension on a weekly and monthly basis.Assists managers and employees with timesheet and Time Away From Work questions.Special projects as directed by the Payroll Manager.

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS :

Supports and exhibits behavior consistent with the sales and service philosophy of Client X. Acts with diplomacy as a representative of the Accounting Department.Performs other related duties as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :

Three to five years of payroll experience required.Experience with Ceridian Dayforce.Union experience preferable.Intermediate skills with Windows software such as Word, Excel, etc. is required.Needs to be familiar with general ledger.Must have highly developed customer service and communication skills; written and oral.Must be able to interact with all levels of organization..Must maintain a calm and professional demeanor.Must be able to work independently with some supervision.Must be able to maintain highly confidential data. #J-18808-Ljbffr The Rockridge Group
