The HVAC Outside Sales Professional is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with current and potential customers. Powers promotes a team-driven sales approach to ensure customers are taken care of at every level of the buying process. As a member of our team, your strong interpersonal skills and attention to customer service will support both team goals and customer needs, helping us Create Customers for Life.

This is a consultative, technical sales role: you'll work directly with customers to understand their heating and cooling needs and recommend the right HVAC equipment and controls to solve them, drawing on a solid technical understanding of commercial HVAC systems to guide product selection and provide credible, practical solutions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Create and implement a sales strategy that supports personal sales goals and the key performance indicators (KPIs) set by Powers.
• Communicate with current and potential customers on a regular basis, providing solutions as needed, and oversee all sales activity within your assigned territory.
• Coordinate with other members of the sales team to generate sales and provide excellent customer service.
• Submit sales activity reports regularly into the company's CRM software, maintaining clean and up-to-date records for all leads and customers.
• Adhere to all company procedures, values, and policies, ensuring an accurate representation of the company to all potential and current customers.
• Perform duties as efficiently as possible, reducing costs where feasible, and maintain receipts for all job-related expenses for submission to accounting.
• Stay actively involved in the local HVAC industry, including participation in relevant HVACR associations, committees, and events, to build visibility and stay current on trends, products, and best practices.
• Other duties as assigned by your supervisor.

Skills and Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in Commercial HVAC.
• Technical knowledge of commercial HVAC systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with CRM software.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
