Machine Operator - Schulenburg, TX

Job Overview We are seeking a Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team in Schulenburg, Texas. The Machine Operator, will be responsible for the efficient operation of injection molding machines to produce high-quality parts made of polypropylene and other thermoplastics. This position requires a keen attention to detail, a strong understanding of machine operations and material properties, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. A Day In The Life
Operate injection molding machines to produce components made from polypropylene, ensuring products are of high quality and conform to set specifications.
Monitor the production process and identify and report any product defects to the supervisor
Perform second operations on parts including adding metal components and trimming parts as required.
Maintain accurate records of production data, including quantities, types, and dimensions of produced components.
Adhere to safety, quality and productivity standards including wearing proper PPE and work appropriate attire
Collaborate with quality control personnel to identify and rectify defects or inconsistencies in product batches.
Assist in the training of new staff on machine operation procedures and safety protocols.
Keep the work area clean and organized to maintain a safe working environment. What will help you thrive in this role?
