Rheumatology Territory Business Manager, Birmingham, AL

argenx seeks a Territory Business Manager to drive demand generation and build relationships with healthcare professionals and specialty providers in the Birmingham, Montgomery, and Huntsville rheumatology markets. The role combines strategic account planning, customer engagement, and sales execution to improve patient access and outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Travel within assigned geography to engage key stakeholders and support business objectives
• Develop and execute strategic territory and account plans leveraging customer and market insights
• Build and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals, specialty pharmacy partners, and infusion providers
• Achieve and exceed sales objectives while maintaining compliance and integrity standards
• Submit account plans, customer interactions, and CRM activity accurately and on schedule

Requirements

• 5+ years specialty, rare disease, or biologics sales experience
• Significant demonstrated rheumatology sales experience strongly preferred
• Proven track record of consistent high sales performance and business objective execution
• Experience developing and executing territory and account strategies
• Strong ability to collaborate across complex healthcare landscapes and cross-functional teams
• Deep understanding of market access dynamics, specialty pharmacy, and buy-and-bill environments
• Bachelor's degree required; residency within assigned territory required

Compensation: $140,000-$192,500 base
