Accountant

We’reseeking an Accountant with a diligent mindset to join our accounting team thatprides itself on providing superior support for an exceptional group ofcompanies. Palisades Holdings Inc. represents a network of dedicated companiesspecializing in the fabrication and distribution of high-end specialty alloyproducts for key end-use markets. Following all regulatory andaccounting guidelines, the Accountant will assist in the preparation offinancial statements and tax returns for multiple entities under thesupervision of the Controller.As a minimum, thefollowing is a basic description of typical duties and responsibilitiesexpected of the Accountant. These duties are not exhaustive and are subject tochange as the needs of the organization require. Assist in producing accurate and timely financial statements Prepare monthly journal entries Reconcile general ledger accounts for monthly and year endclosing Assist in the preparation of forecasts Review financial reports with management Prepare and participate in internal and external audits Assist in the management of business tax accounts andpreparation of business tax filings Conduct various analyses for management Daily cash management, set up ACHs/wires Assist in special projects as necessary Ensure compliance with all internal controls Occasional travel for inventory audits Required Qualifications Bachelordegree in Accounting CPA Preferred Strongwork ethic; self-motivated Excellentinterpersonal and communication skills Detailorientated with strong critical thinking and analytical skills Excellentorganizational and time management skills Abilityto effectively multi-task and work independently on assigned tasks MicrosoftOffice proficiency, including Word, Excel, and Outlook Company Benefits 401k with Company Match Health Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance Long-term disability Short-term disability Paid Time Off Paid Holidays #J-18808-Ljbffr
