Overview
Registered Nurse – CCU travel assignment in Great Barrington, Massachusetts. Start date: 08/24/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Shift: 36 hours per week on 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM. Weekly pay: $2,116 to $2,180. Guaranteed hours: 0.0. Setting: hospital-based critical care unit. This is a travel - temporary assignment requiring independent practice under general guidance, with a 20-bed unit and a 1:2 patient-to-nurse ratio.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care for critically ill adults in CCU, including ventilated patients and those requiring ICP and hemodynamic monitoring
- Implement and adjust care plans, administer medications, and perform ongoing assessments to identify changes in patient condition
- Monitor equipment and devices (ventilators, invasive lines, monitoring systems), respond to emergencies, and escalate as needed
- Collaborate with physicians, bedside teams, and ancillary staff; participate in rounds and family communications
- Document care and outcomes in the electronic medical record (Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred)
- Maintain patient safety, infection control, and adherence to unit protocols and policies

Requirements
- Massachusetts RN license (active) required; license must be uploaded with profile
- Massachusetts Temporary Nursing Service Agency License (Nursing Pool) required and uploaded upfront
- Minimum 2 years of current CCU/critical care experience
- Ventilation, ICP monitoring and hemodynamic monitoring experience required
- IV qualifications required
- BLS and ACLS required; PALS preferred
- TNCC and PEARS preferred; TNCC strongly preferred
- Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred
- BSN preferred
- Own vehicle required
- Traveler profile must include Massachusetts license and all RTOs; no more than 5 days of RTO accepted
- Ability to function independently under general guidance; strong critical thinking and emotional stability in emergencies
- 20-bed CCU with a 1:2 patient ratio; ability to work in a high-acuity environment
- Supervisory signed reference from the past two years of employment required
