Role Overview The Installation Manager plans, organizes, directs, and controls activities related to commercial installation projects. Key Responsibilities Directly supervise team members, including Install Supervisor, Project Managers, Technicians, and oversee subcontracted labor resources. Recommend and/or implement measures to motivate and engage team members, improve project methods, performance, productivity, efficiency, and profitability. Track and procure training and certifications for team members, and conduct training in operational procedures. Facilitate new project handoffs from Sales to Project Management and Engineering, identify key issues and timetables, and coordinate project status reviews. Plan and establish work schedules, assignments, and sequences to meet project goals. Proactively manage and resolve issues related to scheduling, deliverables, labor, parts, and system designs. Forecast expected Installation Revenue and costs each month Ensure excellence in customer experience, including consistency, quality, and timeliness, and ensure that business is always conducted in accordance with laws and regulations. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications 5+ years’ experience in Operations Management or similar role The ideal candidate will have or will be able to develop a strong understanding of Fire and Security system (predominantly Fire, access control, cameras/video surveillance) design and installation, which includes an understanding of the capabilities and limitations of systems, features, components, and related software and hardware. Excellent managerial, supervisory, and leadership skills. Skilled in organization, planning, tracking, thoroughness, attention to detail. Effective communication skills/methods for a diverse range of stakeholders. Strong work ethic and ability to apply security and confidentiality measures. Knowledge and understanding of low voltage, electronics, networks, electrical (equipment, parts, supplies, tools, wiring, regulations, codes).
