Civil Engineer - Land Development

Civil Engineer Atwell, LLC is a national leader in consulting, engineering, and construction services. We are seeking a Civil Engineer who will develop site plans, analyze survey data, produce reports, and support construction activities across residential, commercial or industrial land development projects. Responsibilities Draft preliminary and final site plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D. Analyze survey data to assess existing site conditions; review legal descriptions, ALTA surveys, easements, and condo documents. Prepare reports, opinions, and recommendations including hydrologic, hydraulic, due‑diligence, cost opinions, schedule, utility and stormwater studies, soil and earthwork calculations, StormCAD and WaterCAD reports, and grading plans. Support construction activities such as permit applications, cut sheets, quantity estimates, and transmittals; organize plans and construction documents under senior guidance. Maintain proficiency in Civil 3D and related software packages; ensure deliverables meet established standards. Communicate effectively in writing and orally with project teams and stakeholders. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering. Minimum 4 years of engineering experience. Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, WaterCAD, StormCAD, and SewerCAD preferred. Compensation & Benefits Pay Range: $75,000 – $120,000 USD. Competitive base salary and annual bonuses. 401(k) match – 1:1 up to 4% of compensation.
