PeopleTec is currently seeking a Subcontracts Administrator to support our Huntsville, AL location.
Duties:
- Lead cradle-to-grave subcontract administration activities supporting DoD and Federal Government programs.
- Develop, negotiate, award, administer, and close out subcontracts in accordance with company policies and Government regulations.
- Prepare solicitation packages, evaluate supplier proposals, conduct cost and price analyses, and negotiate subcontract terms and conditions.
- Administer various subcontract types, including Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Cost Reimbursement, Time & Materials (T&M), and IDIQ agreements.
- Ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, customer requirements, and subcontract flowdown obligations.
- Support proposal and capture efforts through supplier engagement, pricing support, and subcontract strategy development.
- Support CPSRs, DCMA/DCAA audits, and other compliance reviews.
- Serve as the primary interface between subcontractors and internal stakeholders.
- Candidate must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
Required Skills/Experience:
- 5-12 years of experience in Government subcontract administration.
- Working knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and Government procurement practices.
- Experience negotiating and administering subcontract agreements.
- Strong analytical, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Travel: Minimal.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Contracts Management, or related field. Equivalent experience may be considered.
Desired Skills :
- CPSR experience.
- Experience supporting DoD programs.
- DCMA and DCAA audit experience.
- JAMIS and SharePoint experience.
- NCMA certification preferred.
