Production Supervisor
Catalent
Catalent seeks a Production Supervisor for its Manassas, Virginia facility to oversee dietary supplement and food manufacturing operations. The role involves directing production crews, ensuring quality and safety compliance, managing continuous improvement initiatives, and maintaining operational efficiency on a night shift schedule.
Responsibilities
- Direct daily production planning, execution, and process implementation across teams
- Monitor and improve operational performance through data analysis and continuous improvement
- Oversee sanitation, safety procedures, and equipment maintenance to reduce downtime
- Schedule, train, mentor production staff and implement corrective actions as needed
- Track and report machine efficiency, reliability, and performance metrics to leadership
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 3–5 years food manufacturing experience
- 3–5 years supervisory or leadership experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Proficiency in machinery operations and equipment knowledge
- Advanced computer skills and SQF/HACCP/FQP familiarity preferred
- Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly
