The candidate should be capable of seeing ideas from concept through to implementation and applying a formal business analysis methodology based on industry best practices to accomplish the task. The position requires an individual with exceptional communications skills (verbal and written), superior facilitation and presentation skills, and highly accomplished personal organizational and management abilities. Role ResponsibilitiesUnderstanding the goals and business needs of an organization and recommending potential solutionsAnalyzing the impact of change across the organizationSpecifying, analyzing, synthesizing business, stakeholder, functional, and nonfunctional requirementsDiscovering, documenting and improving business processes at varying levels of detail, both graphically and with textDocumenting business analysis artifacts using business analysis software toolLeading crossfunctional meetings to elicit requirements from subject matter experts to determine potential conflicts/other requirements that may exist in other areas.Facilitating requirements workshop with over 10 participantsFacilitating focused group discussions to elicit requirements involving 58 participantsCommunicating and representing requirements to stakeholders throughout solution developmentEvaluating the value being delivered by new and existing solutionsInstructs, directs, and checks the work of other team membersCoaches, motivates and guides team membersUtilizes best practice processes around work assignments, project management, and quality of output while maximizing overall team performanceCompetent to work at the highest technical level of most phases of systems analysis while considering the business implications of the application of technology to the current and future business environmentCreates business process flow charts for customer and technical reviewApply BABOK and industry best practices to work related to requirements and business analysisDefines overall application functional / business requirements with end users. Recommends solution modifications, configurations, and processesImplements, designs and / or upgrades applicationsCreates test plans for projectsAnalyzes model test discrepancies to find trends and works with programmers to resolveEstablishes cost and time estimates for development and implementation of projectsProduces business process flow chartsCreates communication plans (correspondence, presentations, and other materials) for knowledge transfer to leadershipEvaluates user requirements for one or more specialized business applications and translates those needs into defined user assessment plans or specifications used in determining enduser business or technical needsDevises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired resultsActs a team leader for projects with moderate budgets or of a short to intermediate durationMentors less experienced team membersBasic Qualifications Minimum of 10 years of experience implementing COTS (Commercial Off the Shelf) solutionMinimum of 3 years leading BA (Business Analysis) teamsMinimum of 5 years of Health Plan experienceMinimum 5 years of CRM Implementation experiencePreferred SkillsStrong knowledge of system development methodology, project management and system architectureStrong analytical / problem solving skillsAbility to identify and evaluate IT and business challenges from a broad perspectiveExceptional influencing and communication skills.
