Job Description

Immediately hiring an experienced Commercial Flooring Installer for a large company in San Antonio.

Pay is $20-$34/hr. based on experience and skills

Schedule is Mon-Fri 7am-3:30pm with OT available

Duties:

Install commercial flooring materials, including carpet tile, sheet vinyl, luxury vinyl tile (LVT), vinyl composition tile (VCT), rubber flooring, and laminate in commercial and corporate facilities.
Measure, cut, and fit flooring materials to ensure accurate installation and a professional finish.
Prepare subfloors by cleaning, leveling, grinding, patching, and removing existing flooring before installation.
Apply adhesives, sealants, and moisture barriers according to manufacturer specifications and project requirements.
Install cove base, transition strips, stair treads, and trim to complete flooring projects.
Read and interpret blueprints, floor plans, and work orders to determine layout, material requirements, and installation methods.
Operate hand and power tools, including floor scrapers, grinders, rollers, seam cutters, and heat welders
Corporate office buildings, historical landmarks, restorations
Carpentry, flooring installs/removals, ceramic, carpet, vinyl, wood

Requirements:

Must have commercial flooring experience
Seeking at least 4 years' experience in flooring
Must have own tools
Must have reliable transportation
