Role Description The Construction Project Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Watertown, SD. This position oversees projects from pre-construction through closeout, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and coordination of field and subcontractor activities. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing project timelines, monitoring costs and change orders, reviewing drawings and specifications, and ensuring work is performed safely and in compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements. The Construction Project Manager will collaborate closely with designers, engineers, superintendents, and trade partners to maintain quality, resolve issues, and keep stakeholders informed through regular progress updates and reports. The role also involves risk management, forecasting, and continuous improvement of project delivery processes. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Construction Project Management and Construction Management skills to lead projects from planning through completion. Candidates should possess solid Project Management capabilities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management. Candidates should possess effective Project Coordination skills to align internal teams, trade partners, and clients. Candidates should possess Budgeting skills to manage costs, track financial performance, and support forecasting. Relevant experience in commercial, industrial, or infrastructure construction; familiarity with design-build and self-perform environments is beneficial. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications, and to use project management and construction software tools. Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with a commitment to safety and quality.
