We are seeking a dedicated and skillful Ophthalmic Technician to join our dynamic healthcare team. The successful candidate will have a passion for providing high-quality patient care and a commitment to excellence in the field of ophthalmology. Responsibilities:
As an Ophthalmic Technician, you will play a crucial role in the diagnosis and treatment of eye conditions and diseases. Your key responsibilities will include:

1. Assisting ophthalmologists in the examination and treatment of patients, including preparing patients for exams, conducting preliminary vision tests, and administering eye medications.
2. Gathering detailed patient histories and maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records.
3. Operating ophthalmic equipment and instruments, such as retinoscopes, tonometers, and slit lamps, to assist in patient examinations and procedures.
4. Educating patients about their eye conditions and providing clear and concise instructions for eye care at home.
5. Assisting in minor surgical procedures, ensuring the comfort and safety of the patient at all times.
6. Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure a high standard of patient care.
7. Keeping up to date with the latest developments in ophthalmology and participating in ongoing professional development activities.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you will need:

COT or COA certification strongly preferred
