Electromechanical Assembler

Our company is seeking a skilled Electromechanical Assembler to Assemble machinery to engineered prints. The ideal candidate will read and understand mechanical, electrical and pneumatic drawings. Operate, maintain, test, troubleshoot, and calibrate electronic equipment so he or she can later fabricate, fit, and assemble products.

Ability to follow verbal instructions, work in a fast-paced environment, and the ability to meet deadlines is essential

Electromechanical Assembler Duties and Responsibilities

• Reading blueprints, drilling bolt holes, assembling parts, inspecting them for imperfections, soldering electrical components, measuring parts, and verifying they are the correct dimensions based on customer specifications using precision measuring tools.
• Training other employees on how to install and operate equipment and ordering parts if needed.

Electromechanical Assembler Requirements and Qualifications

• Associate degree in electromechanical engineering, mechatronics, or a field related,
• 2 years of experience using, assembling, or repairing equipment.
• Skills in wiring, wire harnessing, crimping, soldering small assemblies and subassemblies, and using various hand tools.
• Read blueprints, use measurement tools, and understand electro-static discharge (ESD) handling requirements.
• Communication and teamwork skills are also essential to develop.
