Job DescriptionPosition SummaryThe Treasury Management Solutions Consultant serves as a senior consultative sales and product expert responsible for helping clients and prospects achieve their financial and operational objectives through innovative treasury management solutions. This role combines deep product expertise with business development, solution design, sales execution, and market intelligence to drive revenue growth, enhance client relationships, and support strategic treasury initiatives.The individual partners closely with Treasury Management Advisors, Financial Advisors, Product Management, and other internal stakeholders to develop and deliver customized solutions that address client needs while supporting the bank's growth objectives. The role requires extensive treasury management knowledge, strong consultative selling skills, and the ability to articulate complex product capabilities to clients, prospects, and internal partners.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & Sales• Develop and execute territory-based sales plans in partnership with Treasury Management Sales Consultants and Relationship Managers.• Generate new business opportunities through prospecting, client discovery, pipeline management, and consultative sales activities.• Achieve annual sales goals and activity targets while contributing to overall treasury management growth objectives.• Identify opportunities to expand and deepen existing client relationships through treasury management and payment solutions.• Lead solution discussions, presentations, and client meetings to demonstrate value and drive successful outcomes.• Negotiate and influence sales opportunities while maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction.Treasury Management Consulting & Product Expertise• Serve as a subject matter expert across treasury management products, services, and emerging payment solutions.• Be able to inspect, review, and comment on client or bank provided file formats, specifications, test files, production files. In the requirements and technical sales phase, scope preliminary file designs, assist client and their partners with review, and additionally should a custom route be applicable to assist in design and shape within the limits of our service offering.• Provide consultative guidance to clients, prospects, sales teams, and relationship managers on product functionality, positioning, pricing, and strategic application.• Manage complex product inquiries, including responses to non-standard RFPs and customized solution requests.• Design and recommend solutions that improve clients' financial processes, operational efficiency, liquidity management, and payment workflows.• Deliver product demonstrations and presentations to internal and external audiences.Client & Partner Engagement• Partner with internal and external stakeholders to develop comprehensive treasury solutions that meet client objectives.• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, prospects, product partners, and sales teams.• Participate in industry events, client seminars, and sales programs to promote treasury management capabilities.• Provide timely updates on sales activities, pipeline performance, and market opportunities.• Mentor less experienced sales professionals and contribute to team development initiatives as needed.Product Strategy & Industry Leadership• Collaborate with Product Management teams to identify market needs and recommend product enhancements.• Leverage client and prospect feedback gathered throughout the sales process to influence product development and innovation.• Stay current on competitive offerings, treasury management trends, payment technologies, and financial supply chain developments.• Maintain knowledge of ERP systems, Treasury Workstations (TWS), payment platforms, and related business process technologies.• Serve as a key contributor to treasury management strategic initiatives and business growth programs.________________________________________QualificationsRequired Experience• 7+ years of treasury management, treasury management sales, business development, payments, or related financial services experience.• Demonstrated success in consultative sales, business development, and relationship management.• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals and revenue objectives.• Extensive experience presenting treasury solutions to executive-level decision makers.Required Knowledge & Skills• Deep knowledge of treasury management products, services, and payment solutions.• Strong understanding of business processes beyond treasury, including financial operations and working capital management.• Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, Treasury Workstation (TWS) applications, payment systems, and related financial technology platforms.• Understanding of file formats, API, and knowledge of technical requirements needed for product performance applied to client configuration and requirements.• Exceptional verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.• Strong analytical, solution-design, negotiation, and influencing abilities.• Ability to translate complex technical capabilities into business value for clients and prospects.• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across a matrixed organization.• Problem solving in complex environments across teams, with the ability to be empowered to care for issues, create solutions while caring for our customers and keeping the Firm within risk tolerances / mitigation / acceptance.The information on this description has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by employees within this classification. Minimum Experience: Eight years of experience in treasury and payment services and/or commercial banking or corporate treasury.
