About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intermediate Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years of recent experience within the last 7 years required. License: Must have a valid license. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required. Must-Have: - Previous charge experience. - Experience managing a patient ratio of 4-5. - Proficient in charting using Cerner. - Completed at least 1 travel assignment. Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse in an Intermediate Care setting. The role requires managing patients with various medical and surgical conditions. You will be responsible for telemetry monitoring and the interpretation of dysrhythmias. Skills required include BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, and central line care. You will also be involved in tracheostomy care and management, and wound care. The position requires floating to units of equivalent or lower level of acuity if census drops. Weekend shifts will be scheduled. Scrubs are not provided; navy blue and white colors are required. Employee vaccination for influenza is mandatory. You will be working in a team with interdisciplinary support, including respiratory services and physical therapy. Candidates must be comfortable proceeding in the role without an interview. Compliance training is required upon hire. You must achieve a score of at least 80% on the EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam.
