Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting routine health screenings such as vision, hearing, and scoliosis tests
• Managing general health concerns and addressing medical needs for both general education and special education student populations
• Supporting the school community with timely and compassionate care
• Documenting health information and following nursing protocols in compliance with educational standards

Desired skills and experience:

• Current and active RN or LVN license (required)
• Previous experience in a school nursing setting is highly valued
• Confidence in independently performing standard nursing assessments and screenings (no training will be provided)
• Exceptional interpersonal communication skills to effectively collaborate with students, staff, and families
• Dedication to ensuring student safety and wellness in an educational environment

Assignment Details:

• Contract position running from ASAP through May 27, 2027
• Service to 8th grade and special education caseloads at an arts and enterprise-focused school
• Work approximately 15-18 hours per week, allowing ample flexibility for your personal or professional schedule
