The .NET Developer is responsible for researching, designing, developing, and maintaining computer and network software applications and specialized utility programs. Job Summary
The .NET Developer is responsible for researching, designing, developing, and maintaining computer and network software applications and specialized utility programs. This role involves analyzing user requirements, building scalable software solutions, and supporting applications throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Key Responsibilities
- Research, design, and develop software applications and utility programs using .NET technologies.
- Analyze user needs and evaluate system and application requirements to develop effective software solutions.
- Develop applications using .NET languages such as C# and VB.NET .
- Work with technologies including ASP.NET, Visual Studio, SharePoint Development, Excel Services, SharePoint Workflows, Business Data Catalogs, AJAX, CSS, SQL, JavaScript, XML, and HTML .
- Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following best practices.
- Collaborate with internal teams to design software architecture and application components.
- Test, deploy, maintain, and support applications and systems.
- Revise, update, refactor, and debug existing code to improve performance and functionality.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation throughout the SDLC.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for applications and provide technical support.
- Conduct feasibility studies and assist in evaluating user and system requirements.
- Support system setup and deployment at client locations as required.
- Entry to Senior Level :Experience in software development or related roles.
- Strong knowledge of .NET framework and application development .
- Experience with relational databases and SQL-based development.
- Understanding of software development methodologies and SDLC.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Must be willing to travel to various client locations within the United States for short-term and long-term assignments, including unanticipated system setup and implementation activities.
