DESCRIPTION:

A family owned, growing fast casual Latin restaurant seeks a General Manager to lead daily operations at its high-volume takeout and delivery location in North Jersey. Working directly alongside the ownership team, the General Manager runs the floor and the kitchen, develops the staff, controls food and labor cost, and helps build the brand toward its next location. This is a fully hands-on role for an operator who leads from the line, not from the office, and who wants to grow with a small business that plans to expand. Must be authorized to work in the US.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 5+ years of relevant restaurant management experience, with a record of supervising, managing, and coaching a team
• Kitchen background strongly preferred, with the ability to help optimize menu and food cost
• Demonstrated ownership of food cost, labor cost, scheduling, and payroll efficiency
• Genuinely hands-on, comfortable stepping into any station during peak service
• Customer oriented, with the presence to build repeat business
• Full availability Friday and Saturday, the busiest days of the week; approximately 45 to 50 hours per week
• Able to reliably commute to the Wayne, NJ area
• High school diploma or equivalency required; post-secondary education or training preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication and Microsoft Office proficiency
• Spanish language proficiency preferred
• ServSafe certificate, a plus
