Job Description
TITLE
Labor & Delivery RN - Labor & Delivery

SCHEDULE
- Weekend requirement: Open to working every other weekend; may exceed to meet unit needs.

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS
- Patient ratio: 1:2
- Guaranteed hours: Facility may call off once per two-week pay period.

REQUIREMENTS
- Required years of experience: 2 years preferred; may consider <2 years (1.5 years hard stop).
- Must have expert experience performing sterile vaginal exams independently.
- EPIC experience required.
- Required certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, BCLS, NRP.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide direct patient care in the Labor & Delivery unit, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Perform assessments and triage as necessary.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Monitor and document patient progress and respond to changing needs.

COMPLIANCE / NOTES
- RTO: Must be included at time of submission.
- COVID-19 vaccine: Not required.
- Scrub colors: RN: Royal Blue; L&D/OR: Provided.
