Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and patient-focused Mammography Technologist to join our team full-time. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality digital mammography exams while ensuring patient comfort, safety, and diagnostic accuracy. You'll have the opportunity to work in a collaborative setting dedicated to early detection, quality outcomes, and exceptional patient care.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Perform digital screening and diagnostic mammograms according to physician orders and imaging protocols
• Ensure high image quality while minimizing patient exposure to radiation
• Maintain accurate documentation and imaging records within the electronic medical records system
• Provide clear instructions and compassionate support to patients before, during, and after procedures
• Assist with patient scheduling and exam preparation as needed
• Ensure compliance with ACR, FDA, MQSA, and state regulations
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and functionality, reporting any issues promptly
• Collaborate with radiologists and the broader clinical team to support workflow and diagnostic accuracy
• Maintain continuing education requirements and stay current on mammography best practices

Required Skills:

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Current ARRT (R) certification and Mammography (M) certification required
• Texas MRT license required
• Minimum 1 year of mammography experience preferred, but strong new graduates will be considered
• CPR certification (BLS) required
• Strong attention to image quality and detail
• Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of radiation safety practices and mammographic positioning techniques
• Proficiency with digital mammography equipment and PACS systems
• Ability to work independently and adapt to varying patient needs and schedules
