Director Product Management

OverviewGood Sam is looking for an entrepreneurial, self-starter with successful enterprise experience to come in and evaluate personnel on team, workstream, and process, and brings a playbook to their team of how they go about establishing and honing those best practices. Someone that can put the right product management software in place to drive communication and someone that understands the art of communication around the product marketing component and can autonomously pick up the commercial side of the business and have a strategy handed to them and be solution oriented on how to go build that strategy. Good handle on eCommerce + understanding clearly how their contributions in the product space have contributed to the overall strategical vision of the organization.What you will doDevelop an environment of rapid hypothesis testing and a culture of continuous improvementDevelop a team of world-class product managers, providing guidance and direction to deliver the product vision and strategyDevelop a strong understanding of target personas and the Good Sam ecosystemLeverage a data-driven approach to provide recommendations, drive action, and yield quantifiable outcomesEnsure digital experiences across the Good Sam ecosystem are best-in-classDefine, iterate, and communicate a roadmap for the digital commercial teamAbility to have a mature conversation with VP of Digital and be able to successfully translate in and out of technical and non-technical conversations with stakeholdersChallenge boundaries of the organization and technology to drive improvements in a content-first approachMentor and grow a team of product managersFacilitate stakeholder communication across the organizationChampion enterprise initiatives and ensure the digital experience evolves via emerging technologiesPartner to establish process excellence in the product management functionUnderstanding clearly how their contributions in the product space have contributed to the overall strategical vision of the organization, the business and customer value they have created, the KPIs and be able to have a conversation around the incrementality of the impact of their effortsWhat you will haveExperience leading in an agile product management environment5-10+ years’ experience in product development, product management, and scaling mobile and web productsExperience driving large projects across a complex organization with multiple brandsStrong understanding of eCommerceExperience identifying KPIs and consistently delivering work that has a quantifiable impact on the customer and businessExperience implementing minimum viable processes and influencing team behaviors; iterate based on feedbackExperience managing technically complex products that require multiple platform integrationsExperience working with third parties' vendors and managing end-to-end integrationsExperience working with software components across mobile and webProven track record of identifying customer and business needs and converting them into application and operational requirementsGeneral Compensation DisclosureThe pay range for this role considers several factors in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Camping World, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the factors stated. A reasonable estimate of the current range is listed below.
