Job Summary Position: Accountant I Location: Boise, USA Salary: $20–30 per hour Educational Requirement: Bachelor’s Degree Responsibilities Prepare and self‑review journal entries for accuracy and compliance with business regulations and applicable accounting concepts. Reconcile liabilities and other accounts as needed. Maintain and enhance accounting structures and methods. Provide ideas to improve systems, processes, and procedures affecting month‑end close, account analysis, and financial reporting. Assist with month‑end and quarter‑end close by preparing and maintaining assigned balance‑sheet account reconciliations and adjusting entries. Participate in cross‑functional teams and support other tasks as required. Work collaboratively within a dynamic, high‑energy team in line with Starbucks core values. Qualifications Manage and reconcile multiple bank statements. Support month‑end and intercompany close. Complete ad‑hoc tasks such as process‑improvement projects. Communicate clearly and concisely in both oral and written form. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel. Knowledge of accounting systems and procedures. Attention to detail. Ability to work as part of a team and assist in problem solving.
