Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.30 - $19.30 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by following site-specific procedures and supporting security-related protocols across the location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with property management and/or emergency services when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the property, including lobbies, hallways, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter access points.
• Monitor entrances, common areas, and building activity for security-related concerns, and report maintenance issues, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior according to post instructions.
• Complete required reports and logs related to patrol activity, incidents, and daily observations, helping to support orderly operations at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
