In each of our regions, we are the best in radiology, offering all radiology services! Job Summary The CT Technologist will perform CT, DEXA, and X-Ray (as needed). Essential Functions of a CT Tech Perform general CT/DEXA/X-Ray exams in a timely and complete manner. Position patients and answer any questions regarding the procedure. Ensure the proper dose of radionuclides are administered, starting IV lines if needed. Monitor patient discomfort throughout the procedure. Accurately document the procedure and update patient records. Injection of IV contrast/willingness to train to inject. Correlation of clinical history to the test that is being performed. Assure that all exams include accurate clinical and demographic information and high quality, complete images. Deliver exceptional customer care. Work as part of a team to assist radiologists, fellow technologists and office staff as needed. Education and Experience Associate or bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology.
