Job Summary The RN Manager serves as a pivotal leader responsible for the operational excellence and clinical quality of assigned nursing unit(s) on a 24-hour basis. Key Responsibilities Oversee staff scheduling, time-off approvals, and resource allocation to support department needs. Conduct performance evaluations and offer regular feedback and mentorship to nursing staff, fostering professional growth. Participate in interviewing, hiring, and onboarding new team members to build a highly effective workforce. Develop and implement strategies to enhance team engagement and retention, creating a positive and supportive work environment. Serve as a clinical and operational resource to staff, addressing concerns and assisting as needed to resolve issues. Ensure compliance with organizational policies, regulatory standards, and best practices within the unit.
