Outside Sales Representative

TWW Distribution is a fast-growing wholesale distributor of tires, wheels, and automotive accessories based in Fresno, California. Operating from an approximately 82,000 sq. ft. centralized warehouse, we use barcode-integrated inventory and bin-management systems to deliver accurate, efficient fulfillment to our customers. We serve more than 1,500 active customers, including independent tire shops, automotive retailers, dealers, and eCommerce fulfillment partners. As we continue expanding our market presence, we are looking for a motivated sales professional who can represent TWW Distribution in the field and develop lasting relationships with customers throughout an assigned territory. Position Overview TWW Distribution is seeking a driven and relationship-focused Outside Sales Representative to join our Fresno-based sales team. This is a field-oriented position responsible for developing new business, strengthening existing customer relationships, and increasing sales within an assigned territory. The representative will regularly visit tire shops, automotive businesses, retailers, and other prospective accounts to understand their needs and introduce relevant TWW products and services. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, confident communicating with business owners and purchasing decision-makers, and comfortable working toward measurable sales goals in a competitive wholesale environment. Key Responsibilities Develop and manage a portfolio of new and existing customer accounts. Conduct regular in-person visits with tire shops, automotive retailers, dealers, and other prospective customers. Prospect for new business through field visits, referrals, phone outreach, networking, and other lead-generation activities. Present TWW Distribution’s tire, wheel, and accessory offerings professionally and effectively. Understand customer purchasing requirements and recommend appropriate products and solutions. Build strong, long-term relationships with customers and key decision-makers. Identify opportunities to increase account revenue, order frequency, and product penetration. Follow up on leads, quotations, customer inquiries, and sales opportunities. Work closely with inside sales, warehouse, purchasing, and operations teams to support customer requirements and timely fulfillment. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, prospects, opportunities, and sales activity within company systems and CRM tools. Monitor territory performance and consistently work toward established sales targets. Represent TWW Distribution professionally throughout the assigned market. Qualifications Previous experience in outside sales, field sales, B2B sales, account management, or business development referred. Experience within the tire, wheel, automotive, aftermarket, wholesale, or distribution industry is highly desirable. Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills. Demonstrated ability to prospect, generate leads, and develop new business. Customer-focused mindset with strong follow-up and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently, manage a sales territory, and remain accountable for performance. Comfortable using CRM software, email, spreadsheets, and standard business applications. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required. Willingness to travel locally throughout the assigned sales territory. High school diploma or equivalent required. College coursework or a degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related discipline is a plus. Spanish proficiency is a plus, but not required. Compensation Compensation will be discussed during the interview process and will include commission-based earning opportunities.
