ICU Registered Nurse

ICU Registered Nurse position for first-time travelers accepted. A minimum of 2 years of experience is required. This role requires working three 12-hour night shifts each week. Every other weekend is mandatory. Candidates must have ACLS and BLS certifications; NIHSS is preferred. Experience with the EPIC charting system is essential. Skills required include accessing/managing ports and arterial line management. Candidates should be proficient in BiPAP/CPAP management and blood product administration. Care of ventilated patients and central line care/management experience is required. Knowledge of continuous IV sedation protocols and infection prevention is essential. Interpretation of dysrhythmias and isolation precautions are necessary skills. The position involves managing patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure. Experience in medical or neuro intensive care units is preferred. Candidates should have PICC line management and post-neurosurgery management experience. Procedural sedation administration and monitoring skills are important. Suctioning (ETT, NT) capability is required. Candidates must be able to start and maintain IVs and titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips.
